Know What You Owe!

Too many people find themselves in a debt pit they can’t get out of, because they either didn’t know how much debt they actually had, or were too afraid to find out. Having ‘unmanageable’ debt IS a very scary thing, but ignoring it will only make it worse. Find out EXACTLY what you owe, to whome you owe it, what the interest rates are and what the interest obligations are as well. Write it down on a single sheet of paper, or however you can best keep track of it. Try consolidating what you can; the fewer debtors you have to pay, the more debt you can pay down. It’s All Connected

By now, you may have read that we believe all aspects of your life are connected. I’d like to take this opportunity to give an example of how it’s all related. Let’s take diet for instance; and when we are talking about “diet”, we’re not talking about some specific low carb, high protein, milkshake for breakfast, loose 4 inches off your waist in 3 weeks kind of diet (not that there’s anything wrong with that), more so, we simply mean your everyday food choices. History Has Been Made in the United States

The United States has made history today, by electing its first African American president; and by an impressive margin as well.
The voting public turned out in record numbers, really emphasizing the enthusiasm the American people have for their new government. They, it would seem, are not alone in their enthusiasm. There seems to be a resounding consensus within the international community, that an Obama presidency is a highly welcome change. I’m going to use this event as an opportunity to introduce one of our financial planning concepts; it’s called: ‘Tricks, Traps and True Tastes”.
Through this, we’ll be discussing financial tricks and traps that are common in the market place, that could result in dangerous spending.
